Dept. 05 · Updated quarterly · last tested June 2026
Search this topic and every result is a meal company reviewing itself. So we ordered a week from each of the four — Factor, BistroMD, Trifecta, Clean Eatz — and judged them on the three things that matter to a three-bite appetite: portion size, protein per meal, real delivered price.
| The Scorecard | Trifecta ★ House Pick | Factor | BistroMD | Clean Eatz |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Protein per meal | 38–42g | 34–38g | 25–30g | 24–28g |
| Portion for a small appetite | big — plan to split | right-sized ★ | right-sized | generous |
| Real price / meal, delivered | $13.79 | $12.30 | $14.20 | $9.60 ★ |
| Taste, honestly | clean, plain | restaurant-ish ★ | homestyle | gym-food |
| The verdict | Most protein per bite. Split each meal in two — the math beats everyone. | Best if food still has to feel like dinner. | Best structured program feel, weakest protein. | Best budget play by a mile. |

Prices include shipping, first-box discounts excluded on purpose — you'll pay the real price by week 3. Full methodology below.
The one-click verdict
Trifecta, split in two — 19–21g protein per half at $6.90 per eaten meal. The math beats everyone.
Good to know: every service here is skip-a-week or cancel-anytime from the account page — no contracts, no phone calls.
How we judged — the methodology
One paid week from each service, ordered to the same suburban address in the same month. Every meal weighed, protein taken from the printed label, prices tracked past the intro discount. Nobody was told a review was coming. When a company changes its menu, we re-order and re-print — last done June 2026.
